The Masters Table

Coming soon: pull up a chair

Imagine a long wooden table, good lamplight, and some of the great preachers and thinkers of church history settling in to talk through a question they actually disagreed on. First on the docket: Jonathan Edwards and Charles Spurgeon on baptism.

The goal isn’t to crown a winner. It’s a deep dive: what each man actually wrote, why he believed it, and where the real fault lines are. Their own words get quoted and cited; anything imagined will be clearly labeled as imagined.

Who should sit at the table next? Leave your pairing suggestions on the Captain’s Log.
